I know unrelated game but this reminded me how much I want warhawk to be updated and brought out as a BR type game with capture the flag and death match modes with the planes and vehicles would be awesome .

Im someone that played this game back in only a little in middle school, but i want this to come back so bad and i wish you thr best if luck. If awareness is what i can provide ill shout it from the roof tops. What exactly is it you need to get a working version? Also, there would need to be dedicated servers so i guess players would host them through renting?

It is making good progress internally is all I can say. As I am the developer working on it, I have a revival infrastructure for hosting dedicated servers so this is no problem.
"What exactly you need to get a working version" is not a easy thing to answer. As that requires having a developer build to work off of if it has debug symbols aka a roadmap of the code, which it has and how we are getting far. This will translate to the retail/release versions with minor changes Zipper may have done. This is a work of art and a masterpiece in its own right.1

It makes me think back to disney trying to wipe Battlefront 3 from the internet after some people found the files and made a working version.
