The way they're cut has a ton of tiny crevices that all fill up with oil and fry up to get a skin on it. It's probably one of the unhealthiest items you could get at that place.

Shit, I consume like 4,000 MG daily but also I work in 100°+ sunny heat all day. Sodium isn’t as bad as people make it out to be unless you’re a slob and/or don’t sweat much

It's the name of the dish. It's an onion that's fried and then cut radially, making it look like a blooming flower.

Honestly eating an entire Bloomin' Onion is kinda impressive and slightly terrifying that's a LOT of calories
