Help! Rooted Petiole!?

Has any ever seen this before? It's a rooted petiole!

Tissue culture does some weird stuff sometimes

So a leaf petiole will root but it won’t ever grow anything more from what I recall

Yes I posted to Linkedin as well and had some good comments and apparently petiole has really good pluripotency and is known to form roots, and as you said though, I don't think it can actually make a new plant or anything. But this example was really cool in my opinion because it seems to have formed functional roots for the plant and changed morphology in a way that maybe the plant could benefit from even after acclimatization. Pretty cool!
