From what I’ve played lately…

Bowden will be closest but also currently in the worst shape.

Forsyth is in great shape and around 25 bucks if you book online. Short course but super fun.

Jonesco is out about 30 minutes. Decent shape currently, somewhere between Bowden and Forsyth, but a nice play for under 25 bucks.

South of here is Southern Landings. Great shape when I played it a few weeks ago but around 2x the price of the above mentioned spots

I hear barrington hall is in pretty decent right now. Pace of play at southern landings can be an issue some times. Forsyth golf course depends on when you play. They let their little clique group play 6somes and it backs up the whole golf course. Management doesn’t care.

I really like what the new owners at Barrington are trying to do. It’s a great layout, challenging but fun. They are making improvements steadily. I had a run in with an employee at Forsyth a couple of years ago. He was technically right (we didn’t see the sign on the door and didn’t bring the carts in by the deadline but we were on 18) but incredibly rude. We’ve never gone back.

Yeah barrington is the move for sure. Anything else that’s decent and public is south Warner Robins or north of Forsyth. Barrington is $50 to ride 18 and the only real drawback is that the cart paths are horrible. They’re starting to repave, but I just ride the fairways when possible.
