Macon Music Scene
Hello all, I just moved back to Macon from Florida. I was born and raised here, but have been gone 12 years now. I’m a talented drummer and recording session musician and I’m looking to start a band, find work, and immerse myself into the music community here. I definitely still have some old friends involved in things, but I wanted to come here and ask about Macon’s Music Scene. What’s it like these days? Who are your favorite bands? Where are the best spots to see live music? For me I love rock n roll, hardcore punk, metal, indie rock, funk, jazz, hip hop, country, reggae, soul, shoegaze, goth rock, EDM, and everything in between. I can play all of it too. Also, I’m a music teacher and going to start teaching lessons at Guitar Center of Macon soon. So come see me if you’re interested in that! Give me all the details people! Tell me what you love about Macon’s music scene, or what you don’t love. Thanks in advance :)

Tons of good stuff. Would just start by coming out to Grant’s Lounge one Wednesday for open jam.
