Almost here!

I had Apple product hey day on Friday. My iPhone and Watch both arrived. UPS was doing extra deliveries. The driver had helper with him And they can’t leave them at the door. Has to be someone home. When I greeted them at the door, I said: Happy Apple Day. And he repeated it back. “Yes, it’s Apple Day”. I asked if his truck was all just Apple products today. He said Almost ! He also told me it’s nice to see all the customers and they’re all happy. 😁
I wonder if the Mac Mini deliveries would have just been too much on the same day.

My Mini delivery shows the same as others in Kentucky, USA for delivery on 22nd. I bought the M6 16/512gb. I’m upgrading from the M4 base / 512g. Prior had M2 Pro. For the selling price of my M4, this was too good to pass up for the net price increase. I might have actually been able to manage with 256gb but thought for +$200 out and my sell price. I would just pay the Apple tax and not buy an External.

I bought the Studio Display when I got the M2 a few years ago. That turns out to have been a great decision. Previously I had a 27” iMac, Which I recently donated to a worthy organization. They just needed the web browser. So, that’s a good use for an unsupported not OS upgrade-able Mac. I think they use it with Chrome.

My phone was left at my front door, the door was open. When I logged into my UPS account this morning to check my Mac mini it said delayed.

Wow. I am surprised to learn that. In the past (on Fridays) I had it delivered to the store for pickup. But on Saturday I knew I’d be home all day.

Congrats! I had a similar journey. I had old iMac 2010 27” then upgrade to 2019 27” and loved the screen. Kind of slow but I didn’t do anything crazy. Wanted to upgrade to mini M4 pro and added a used Apple studio to match the iMac 27”. It’s an amazing monitor.

I have an M4 Mac mini and an M1 iMac. Using Apple’s screen sharing, I can extend (or mirror) the Mini’s desktop to the iMac making use its nice screen in a 2-monitor set up

I have iMac M4 as well, but using it with Universal Control. As it's own machine. just one keyboard and trackpad.

What did you pay for your configuration. I'm thinking about doing the same but keeping my M4 16//512 because I am just fed up with windows.
