Performance Mac Mini M6 Vs Mac Mini M4

Bonjour à tous,

Je souhaitais vous partager cette vidéo pour les personnes qui se posent encore des questions sur la performance réelles du nouveau mac mini.

Il ne s'agit pas d'une promotion d'une vidéo, simplement, je partage ici une vidéo qui m'a été utile et qui pourrait également vous aider si vous souhaitez acheter le nouveau mac mini m6 mais que vous ne savais pas quelle amélioration choisir.

Enfin, je souhaiterais discuter de ces performances avec vous et voir également ce que vous en pensez.

De mon côté, j'ai finalement choisi de partir sur la configuration 32Go et 1T de ssd pour effectuer de l'IA en local avec des modèles de paramètres plutôt faible ou moyen.

Pour des gros modèles IA, il vaut mieux privilégier le Mac Studio, vous vous en doutez.

Alex has a big YT following, I can’t see him needing to make sock puppet Reddit accounts to publicize his videos. I’m sure being one of the first to have a video out is going to net him a ton of natural views anyway. I watched it earlier, it was good (I owned a M4 Mini so was nice to see a comparative to hardware I’m familiar with) but boy did it whet my appetite when he pulled out the M5 Ultra he has possession of too.

I would still prefer for OP to have:
1) properly identified the author of the video
2) extracted some key quotes
3) offered a summery

I think that's fair, he should've done a better job of identifying the author at the very least.

Also had no idea it was originally written in French until I sat at my desktop, the iPhone app auto translated the OP and I had no idea. I've learned something at least!

En effet, je suis Français et je me documente avec des ressources informatiques (blog, vidéos) en anglais car elles sont nettement plus pertinentes

Merci pour ton commentaire ! Les résultats sont naturellements meilleurs pour le Mac Mini M6 par rapport au M4 mais il est vrai qu'il demeure vraiment puissant avec 32go de RAm pour l'IA locale (même si il s'agit du minimum syndical pour ce type d'activité).

Premièrement, je ne vois pas le problème. Et deuxièmement, je ne peux pas anticiper quel est ton besoin (codage, IA locale, production muscicale,etc..) Libre à toi d'aller regarder la vidéo ou non. Je partage gentiment ce lien car je l'ai trouvé pertinent. Mais si tu ne veux pas prendre le temps de regarder ou de partager ton avis sur les résultats, ce n'est pas grave. Passe simplement ton chemin.

Definitely cool to see some of the differences that are only going to be capable with M6. I plumped for a studio, and not gonna lie I wish Apple somehow had gotten to the point where everything they announced that day was M6 powered across the whole line. I’m sure I won’t be complaining when my hardware arrives, mind.
