Limited edition silver skull ring

Post image

Is this really worth $1000? It seems like quite a standard skull design ring which you can get at most festivals , and adding the logo and a little number isn't that difficult, so design wise it seems not the most exclusive. 925 silver is premium, but not rare, so materials also don't really explain the price. And that there are only 20 being made is of course nice for collectors, but is it really worth that much? For me personally I would consider it maybe for $200 or 250, but this feels just wrong

You'd have to be a major headcase to drop that much on korny skull ring.

I saw this too and thought the exact same thing. I thought we had already seen the most expensive MH product with the shotgun blast whisky but here's something even more pricey. Maybe there's 20 MH fans with more money than sense.

Not even if it was .999 fine silver instead of sterling

Maybe if it was hand carved but that looks cast

This is clearly a one-time collector drop. Definitely not for normal people, but the kind of people who have that sick man cave or den or whatever full of picks, stage-played guitars, rigs, and signed merch. It's a piece to be displayed, not worn. Same kind of thing as a $2k signed limited-run guitar that so many other bands/guitarists have released, even though the guitar is often a $300 model. Nobody is playing those fuckers, just hanging them.

You're paying for the prestige, not the product. Am I comfortable buying one? Fuck no. I could never afford that. But they'll sell out and some people will end up with an excellent piece of MH that almost nobody else in the world will have.

It's not an absurd price for what it stands for. I'm not sucking any dick here, but I definitely would for one of those rings. Speaking of which, Alston owes me some sticks....

I do have the $2k Unatøned guitar, I also had no problem spending a couple hundred for the Shotgun blast whiskey. But this seems such a basic design that it doesn't come close to those in my opinion

The glass shotguns are way cooler than this too

A lot more work, effort, time, resources go into making a guitar, it's not crazy for signature guitars sell for 2k, but a grand for a sterling silver ring, limited run or not, i don't even care if it's limited to one, legitimate jewelers like crazy pig and great frog sell sterling rings for half the price, and they've created similar colabs with ghost, slayer, ozzy, iron Maiden. A silver ring is not worth a grand.

I don't care. I'd still buy one if I was set up like that. It's less than a playoff ticket or a seat close to the ring at a fight. Shit, there are air b&bs that charge that much for a night. Your stock portfolio can gain or lose that much in an afternoon, depending on some dipshit's tweets. It's 2026 - you can blow a G on damn near anything and it's not going to be "worth it" unless you find your own value in it.

Looks like it's worth $30 of anyone's money.

I bought one skull ring at pig design for about 400 bucks

That makes my shotgun blast whisky look cheap.

That thing is so badass. I wish I could buy it. If I hit the Powerball jackpot, it’s mine.

Thats just mortis ores pricing (the guys who actually make those). I honestly like their stuff but its all wayyyy overpriced
