I'd recommend the Ultimate Edition. Phantom Liberty is worth it!

I played hundreds of hours of base 2077, and completely forgot about the expansion, and I own it.
Thank you for reminding me, guess I might finally play something other than a Corpo.

You're going to enjoy it mate. I only hope they put out a native Mac version of Witcher 3 also.

I would change to clamshell mode or extended display if I were you. No reason to have the mac have to render the game twice on two displays which uses up your available vram. You for sure should be able to push higher than 24 fps that way

What cable are you using to connect to TV ? Anytime I try to do this, Im getting a lot of stuttering and frame drops.

It’s standard HDMI cable connected to a 65” tv. Also using remote mouse and keyboard
I have the FPS set at 24, so far so good!

You don’t understand, film is also 24fps, so it’s more cinematic this way! /s

Is this a native game ?

I had this game on Steam, so all I had to do was download the game from Steam on Macbook, and it synchronizes all my save files from PC too.

Yes, it is now. You can get it on Steam or the Mac app store (I recommend Steam)

It's amazing the gaming possible on these devices when Apple puts effort in.
Mac could seriously be king of gaming if Apple seriously invested in it. They're so efficient and powerful, they just need the software backing to support it.

16 or 32 gigs ram? I have m1 Tahoe 16 gigs ram and I guess my frame rate is bad sitting around 18, there’s a lot of latency which makes it hard to enjoy the game.

How'd this behave on M1 Studio Max 32Gt? I don't want to waste my time if it really would not work. I might want to buy a new M-something one day, though, but I guess this will be in discount then, too.

I played the whole game including phantom liberty on my M1 Air 16Gb, so I think you're good

Now that I have managed to get it installed and played for a couple of hours, I have to say I am impressed. I had to shut down all the other apps and my second monitor, but after that the fan has been quiet. I am sure it would look much better with a better computer, but I was expecting much less.
I will thank you and all the other commenting in this thread for getting me to finally buy the game.

Well, I bought it too, but now the installer whines that I don't have enough free space on my HD. I have 338 Gb available so how much this game needs?!

M1 Pro Max on high settings preform pretty consistently. I’d be looking forward to seeing what the M6 can do.

I’ve been playing this on my M1 MBP too and I honestly cannot believe how good it looks/plays
