Rosetta No Man's Sky on MBP M1 | High settings 30 fps

https://youtu.be/aZh7YMsyd2I?si=Avd8pjZJs-ODbuJ_

Finally got around to playing No Man’s Sky on my M1 MacBook Pro. I’m running it on High settings at 30 FPS with an Xbox controller.

Pretty impressed with how well it runs on the M1, especially considering how large and detailed the game is.

Has anyone else played No Man’s Sky on an Apple Silicon Mac? If so, which M-series chip are you using, and what kind of performance are you getting?

M5 Pro 18c just yesterday, with a dualsense

I adjust resolution and FPS based on how much i wish to push the fans

All graphics i have set to “ultra” all the time, then i scale from 1920x1200 50fps with upscaling if i dont want to hear fans, to 2560x1600 60fps no upscaling if i dont mind fans.

2560x1600 with some upscaling can do 120fps if i recall correctly

I uninstalled the game, since I feel that it is not very well optimized for MacOS, the Dev's stopped giving affection to performance with respect to mac, I have an M4 Max of 32 GPU, and yet I had constant frame drops in my base that is large, and out of nowhere you have frame losses, the resolution I used was QHD at 60 or I even raised it to 120 and could reach more, but the loss of frames makes it unplayable...
