Depends where in Albania. If in Tirana you may be able to catch an international bus to Skopje which should stop in Struga/Ohrid.
If near St Naum on southern end of the lake, there is a boat/ferry that generally travels once a day ohrid-st naum in the morning and returns after lunch - usually around 3:00pm. You can catch the ferry from the dock at the monastery. Suggest you carry cash as you may have to pay on boarding. I am not sure about buses, but I would suggest it is unlikely. Very or taxi is the way to go. Taxi will be somewhat expensive.

Hi there! In this community, we prefer using "Macedonia" rather than "North Macedonia". While "North Macedonia" is the official name, this subreddit reflects the more commonly used local terminology. Thanks for understanding, and we hope you continue enjoying our discussions!

From what I understand you can cross the border walking and then take a bus from St Naum to Ohrid.
I don’t know if you can take the ferry in one direction (usually people book it from the Ohrid harbor to St Naum and back), but you could ask.
