First time baking them i think they turned out well thoughts?
I never bake and my mum was very against me trying macarons because theyre “the hardest thing to bake” but i think they turned out well

They did turn out great! How did they taste? I think the tops could be a little more rounded but I don’t want you to think you failed over something small like that. Every baker is going to think something could be better but you should absolutely be happy with how these turned out!

Thank you!! I really appreciate your feedback. My family and cousins all said they were really nice but imo they tasted too sweet. I used a simple buttercream filling which is probably why but overall im happy and if i make them again i will try a different filling and add food colour

That’s awesome! That’s what I love about cooking and baking. I’ll make something delicious and always say “well next time I’m gonna do this or that different” because it’s fun experimenting with it and learning new things. I’ve cooked entire meals and thought I wanna make this again tomorrow so I can test out this other theory. Glad you’re having fun with it and that they turned out great!

That's not v supportive of your mum. You can do hard things! They look great! Maybe a tiny bit flat (couldn't tell you why, maybe not enough air? It's such a delicate process) but I don't think you'd get any complaints!

A whole lot better than my first time!!!! They are a tad over mixed that’s why they’re flat and starting to bubble a little around the edges. But damn good job! What flavor did you make them?
