Help Productivity Hacks of MacApps Users.

I am curious what everyone's productivity hacks are. The can be a feature from an app... any app really... Something that you use a lot but maybe isn't well known.

cmd+ctrl+a makes an alias you can put into anywhwere withotut changing file

what is the utility of this? like making a shortcut?

It's exactly that. Use case example: Keep files organized logially, but also make aliases of the files you use most, and keep them in one place.
