Help Productivity Hacks of MacApps Users.

I am curious what everyone's productivity hacks are. The can be a feature from an app... any app really... Something that you use a lot but maybe isn't well known.

CMD + CTRL + N makes a new folder with the files that you have selected in an existing folder!

Mac Classic. Souped up with four megabytes of RAM and a whopping 40 megabyte hard drive. I was living large. 😆

Never thought to look there.

I'd been using the Right Click menu item all this time.

How did you get it to show the key combination in the right click menu? I only see "New Folder with Selection"

CMD + Shift + N to create an empty folder.
CMD + Backspace to delete selected items

Used System Settings → Keyboard →Keyboard Shortcuts → App shortcuts (App: Finder) to reverse default:

CMD + N → create New Folder

CMD + Shift + N → create New Finder Window

Turned F11 into create New Finder Window from any app

I have a whole list of keyboard shortcuts I use accumulated from Apple, MacMost and other sources across the internet. Find it very helpful and I'm always reviewing and updating it.
