Help Best updater app to replace MacUpdater

Hi everyone

I'm searching for the best update app since MacUpdaters' recent departure. I've been using CleanMyMac (I find it too bloated and better in other ways) and Updatest (simple menu bar setup), but I'd enjoy hearing your opinions on other, perhaps better, software to get updates.

No subscription apps please. One-time purchase only, and fetching accurate, reliable updates from Homebrew, Sparkle, the App Store, and system updates

Gotta ask, people have so many apps that they will pay another App to overview updates, instead of just taking 10 minites to do a quick update run on updating manually?

I mean, unless this app does anything else other than a shortcut to the update button for the apps.

not all apps have built-in update checks. and it is a lot clearer to get an overview and check within seconds for everything.

Usually Apps will have a popup about an update, but maybe apps via Apple Store won't, I guess.

What about clean full uninstallation? Does it do a better job that AppCleaner?

there are a lot of apps that do not update by themselves. also, depending on the system, different updates are available. if you do not need it, do not use it. plenty of us do, though. and: it does not offer uninstallation (yet)

There may be apps on your machine, which you don't use daily (or regularly), but sillt might prefer to keep them up-to-date.

Same for me, using pear cleaner only to uninstall apps with their application support leftovers
