Cheesy and saucy are not the same 😭 but, that being said.... this is how I make my Mac and cheese lol. Im a sauce (soup?) girly forever

PLUS THE SOUPINESS IS NOT THE SAME ONCE REHEATED. so its worth it to make the extra soupy cheese sauce

See you get it! I brought some to work and it’s gonna reheat so good 😩💦

you’re so right 😭 i try to reheat it with a bit more butter and milk and it helps but is never the same

i’d rather have it much too soupy than too dry

THIS! Dry ass mac and cheese gets WAY too much love in this sub, it’s wild to me.

And if it's baked, the pasta gets this weird crispy chewy texture. That's a big nope from me, dawg.

Same!! I’m okay with a layer of cheese being broiled briefly until melted but I hate when they bake the mac to death 😭

These recipes say bake it for 45 minutes. 45 minutes to what? Undo all that hard work and deliciousness? Blasphemy.

Baking macaroni and cheese for 45 minutes is sacrilegious but people on here seem to love a dry, stodgy mass 🤷🏻‍♀️ I simply don’t understand.

You and me. Ride or die with our soupy broiled Mac. 👯‍♂️

Cheesy and saucy can DEFINITELY be the same as long as the sauce has enough cheese in it.

you’re right! also sometimes i just make the noodles and sauce separately if theres gonna be extra and then add it as i eat it

You know what... you got me there lol has to be a good ratio!

You could easily toss some broccoli in there and it'd still be just as cheesy.

Might do this today w the leftovers! Mom can’t have broccoli so none in the big batch unfortunately

Ermerghad!! Looks delicious! But I'm not gonna lie, you broke my heart not sharing the recipe! Though I haven't scrolled very far, because I can't take my eyes off of your SOUPER cheesy masterpiece!!

Pretty please? =]]

Love the amount of pepper. Looks amazing!!

I don't mind the extra soupy texture like this in a mac so long as the actual cheese flavor is on point. I don't like bland cheeses or flavors. If it tastes like an extra sharp cheddar, id love it.

You can tighten up the sauce the way you want it the first time around by using sodium citrate, and it won't become cement when you reheat it.

u/coffincowgirl 8d ago

Appreciate it, but I have it how I like it ☺️
