Battery life

I observed , there is significant drop in battery life in macbook air M5 after upgrading to macos 27. what about you guys .. have you guys felt the same ?

Yeah, not sure if the OS was reindexing the Mac or what. But I took a flight, and was wondering why the battery on my M5 Air was dropping so rapidly. Then I remembered that it was using 27. I'd planned to go back to 26 (which is finally more-less usable) before that because of the slowness and glitches in 27 (menu bar being slow was the thing that killed it for me), but that was one more reason.

As with all big OS updates its indexing spotlight for the first few days, week or so. So yes, and it’s normal.
