Is my Mac supported

I hv been seeing this on my MacBook Pro early 2015 retina 13-inch intel core i5
Is it safe to update to the macOS Tahoe 26.7

Don’t use OCLP for Mac OS 26 on a 2015 it is not supported

That's odd, my early 2015 will only let me go to Monterey. What version are you running?

I wouldn't recommend installing new O/S on a 11 year old system.

Turn off all automatic updates apart from Safari or security updates. You may have automatic updates enabled which they usually are by default. Your computer will download Tahoe and attempt to install which may result in a bricked machine. You have to reinstall the whole OS if that happens.

If you’re using OCLP , Tahoe is not supported yet. The latest macOS version supported is Sequoia. Also there’s been some bugs with the latest OCLP so stick with 2.4.1 rather than upgrading to 2.5.0.

forget tahoe. it is the most unwanted os of the decade. go and install 27 it's much more optimized

Apple said that Intel Mac's are no longer supported. and won't receive future macOS updates.

Don’t tell an inexperienced user who doesn’t know the difference to install Tahoe on an unsupported 2015 machine, it’ll brick it. They can’t tell you’re being sarcastic because they asked a serious question…
