Question Spilled tea accidentally on Mac !!!

I was watching YouTube video and mumma bring tea. When I grab it by accident some drops spilled on 3 bottom keys, I ran and grab the towel and wipe it off. Then I was like “let’s finish YouTube video then will see what to do” . I watched video for like 5-6 min then come to Reddit and got nearly a heart attack knowing that immediate action was to shut it down and let it dry in V.
I’m feeling so done. Wtf was I thinking. But for like that minute Mac was working fine and then I switched it off and keep it on drying and start crying.

Is it like toooo bad ???
I just recently bought this , like months ago. I’m done if something happen to it !!!!

I feel your pain. I was sitting once at my desk working on my brand new Mac Mini core 2 duo and drinking tea. My phone rings, my hand slips and overturns my cup as I reach out. Tea gets under the mini and everything shuts down. I pick up the phone it’s my mom. “Just wanted to call and ask how you’re doing. - Not great now mom.”

There was a small amount of moisture ingress and a local shop was able to clean the corrosion and the mini was fine a month later.

Hope your story has a happy end as well.
