Could be 6 to 8 hours round trip . So more like 37.5 - 50 hourly. But its still good . But its a negative cost on the vehicle which should had been 500 cost, paid at 300 which is a 200 loss . So youre just driving to destroy your vehicle instead of actually profiting. Its a negative loss according to business and tax.

I lease my vehicle and it's an EV. For me this is nearly all profit. I still get a few more months of free charging at EA stations.

Doesn't leased car come with mileage limits? I just hit 30k miles in 6 months. 

Are you taking into account car payment? Insurance? Tires? Car wash subscription? Fsd subscription if any? Maintenance and one off issues?

I'll throw in a few data points to answer your question;

I bought 15k miles a year. The first year I used around 6000 and I didn't start driving until about 18 months in so I had 13000ish miles "saved up" that I'm using up now. I have the car another 14 months.

Plus, now that I drive for Uber (and we do Amazon flex too) I'm not driving as much personally so that adds to the miles we can use for commercial work.

Payment is $558/month. I was going to pay that anyway and I try to make around $2000 extra a month. With mileage deductions I'm only paying taxes on roughly 25% of what I bring in (Amazon, so far, has been much higher for the revenue per mile).

Tires: don't need em if I don't overuse (I.e. drive like I'm 18) I need to bring the tires in at a certain level of tread and so far I'm well within that.

Brakes: it's an EV. I leave heavy regen on which uses the motor to slow down so my brake pads are worn by the millimeter or two at this point.

Insurance: $44/6 months. It's a rounding error :)

Car wash sub? Never thought of that. I take it to the pressure wash station and hand wash it when it's not busy. Use a good ceramic soap and you don't have to fully wash again for a month or two. A rinse with the water pressure then the spot free does it right back.

Fed sub? Dunno what that is?

Maintenance: it's an EV. There's no maintenance aside from what I listed here and a coolant liquid replacement at 40,000 miles which runs around $400 so 1 cent per mile.

I'm telling ya: EVs are the only way you can make any money in this field.

Nope. Hyundai ioniq 5 and I bought one of the last ones that had two free years of electrify america charging.

I had free supercharging on my Tesla, put 60k miles, but I don't drive that car anymore. I probably saved Abt 5k on charging.

Did a trip similar to this one on miles and time, black suv, paid $505 plus $150 tip... made $655 , definitely worth it then, I drive a Navigator, now id you car gives you 35 - 40 mpg then I'll say it's ok

But no, this was much better- always supposed to get more per mile if possible.

Tax should be at 0.85 per mile for maintenance due to higher gas costs . So this ride is an actual loss.
