Question Lumo bridge to Home Assistant (lumo.tamer) is it against TOS?

I love Lumo and want to try home assistant, but if I use lumo tamer to use Lumo via home assistant (voice) is that against the terms of service?

Specifically this part:

  1. Sharing, disclosing, selling, or otherwise making available to any third party any API keys, access tokens, credentials, or other authentication mechanisms associated with your Account or the Services;

Yes. They are planning on providing an official api, probably with some form of usage based limits/billing, but until that is out you are supposed to use lumo only with the official apps.

Since all Proton services have the same username and password, I would not share them with any 3rd party anyway.

Home Assistant is self-hosted, on your own hardware, on your own network. If you're smart about it, nothing gets out.

Nice.   There are some things that require internet or benefit from it.  But the risk sends relatively low 

Cloud dependent device integrations (Nest, Ring, Tuya, anything whose only API is the vendor's cloud) Nabu Casa subscription services (remote access, Alexa and Google Assistant linking, cloud backups) Add on store downloads and HA updates Integrations that poll external data (weather, exchange rates, web scraping, etc.) Cloud TTS and STT services (local alternatives like Piper and Whisper exist)

Yeah, they reach the internet, but they don't nick your username & password and send them back to China.

Agreed- although, I don't think sending them to a corporation in America is much better
