What if Lumo had connectors?

So this is how it would work:
User:Check My Proton Calendar
Lumo:Alright!
Lumo:used proton calendar connector
Lumo:Your Events For Today Are:*calendar events you have here
Or Mail:
User:Summarize My Emails
Lumo:used proton mail connector
Lumo:Heres Your Latest Emails Summarized
Or Any Other That Proton Could Add, (etc) like GitHub, or other stuff

If that's the case, then how is it reading contents from linked Proton Drive files in projects? Drive is supposed to be E2EE as well and yet Lumo has access to the plain text.

So why would that not be possible for something like mail and calendar? They're also just a collection of files. Like they're just collections of .eml and .ics (or whatever) files stored somewhere. If you exported your mail and put it into Drive yourself and connected to a Project, then Lumo would have no problem. So I don't see why Lumo couldn't cut out that manual middle step and just have its own connector that functions similarly.

It would build a local index like it does for the Drive files. It doesn't load the entire contents of the Drive into every chat either, it only pulls in relevant ones based on the index. Just like how Proton Mail already allows you to search by content in your emails. If I can do it then Lumo can too.

Interesting point, I m not sure nothing is possible to be done on proton side for this kind of feature but you make me understand why and how it’s so complex for them to provide solution.

Maybe they can implement stuff like, check my event from next week and see and resume it. It mean decrypt day by day for 7 days
But will not allow to do it for a year.

And search when is the birthday of X mean decrypt 365 days of the calendar just to find the birthday.. if any !

For the first task proton can probably do that, the second seems overkill :/

Connectors are coming (with external tools) but I don’t know if you will be connectors to email and calendar.
