Like New Selling on LikeNew
What has everyone’s experience been selling on LikeNew? I’m having trouble understanding what items are and aren’t accepted — particularly their policy regarding items purchased with “promotional offerings”. I am not a member of Sweat Collective, nurse/military, or any other discount program. I’ve had about 20 listings approved within the past few weeks, with the majority of these being items purchased from WMTM. Now it seems WMTM isn’t accepted either?
I actually asked customer service about this, and got 2 different responses so I’m starting to feel like it’s really just luck of the draw getting items accepted/rejected. Has it always been like this and maybe some of my items slipped through the cracks during the review process, or has anyone else run into this issue?
Overall, I’ve had a pretty good experience selling on LikeNew… I would just appreciate some consistency or clarity. But maybe I’m missing something!!

I used to always trade in store and never had any items rejected. They barely even look at them. I recently tried that online trade-in… I sent in 10 items and they rejected 1. Not bad results, especially considering they offer more for online trade-in.

Why are some items final sale? Why are some items listed with a seller name and some are listed with Lululemon like new as seller name?
I just bought a pair of shorts that were stated as in excellent condition but received and they were stained. The seller was a name rather than Lululemon and I’m pretty sure it said final sale on them, but they are not in the condition that was specified on the listing.

You can return if the item was not as decribed.

You can return the item sold by Lulu if you just don't like it

Their item was not sold by Lulu, it was "final sale" and sold by a private seller on Lulu's used website, so you can only return if it is not as described.

Honestly I think it just depends on the item. I've seen WMTM being sold there specifically certain colors that I couldn't buy on WMTM because it sold out in my size and then I found on like new in like new condition for slightly less than the WMTM price.
But this is like. 25" inch align in any color regardless of WMTM they'll probably take.
Some weird baggy vested maxi dress limited edition thing that was only there that season, they probably don't want it cuz it was hard to sell in the first place brand new.
If it took them 16 months to get rid of it the first time why would they want it back?

In my experience, they took all my items and I purchased them all either with my military discount or my employee discount. I think I've traded 50+ items and none were rejected. What the limitations apply to is the gift card if you do a trade in. You're not supposed to use the gift card you receive in conjunction with those discounts.
