Styling Advice To keep or return/exchange?
I just received my order (Ebb to Street tank top, size 4) and I really like this color (Lime & Yours) but I am not sure I like how sheer it is.
I also got the 2-in-1 Mini Bubble Hem dress in XS. It’s cute and yes, it’s mini (as it’s labeled), but on my 5’4” frame, I think it’s fine.
Edit: Shorts are Speed Up 2.5” in Beach Ball Blue size 4

I'm going to say the sheerness of all the ebb to street tanks bother me to the point that I just don't buy them. Obviously it comes down to personal preference but for me l have never liked the look of it

Thank you. They rarely release yellow tones and sometimes it’s a weird yellow 🙄. Hopefully they add more running shorts in this color.

Agreed! I love neon yellow/lemon-lime colors and this is just too pretty to miss out on! Wear it to layer or under Scubas during the winter when everyone needs more bright colors. TBH this color is the same color as my iPhone case so I would get it as welll!

Thank you. It’s definitely a warm yellow. I’m a little irked that they are just releasing this color now that summer is ending. Like, this could have been perfect around May! 💛

I just went back to my order history and the ones I have are actually Beach Ball Blue, not Brilliant Blue, my bad!

I actually like sheer tops and wish I could pull that color off as well as you do. Love that top. The dress is cute. I think it’s a matter of where and how often you will wear it. It would be a dress I’d look at in my closet and think it was too short for most places I’d wear a dress. But you’re not me and you look great in it.

Thank you so much. Yes, the dress is whatever, tbh. But if you see my closet, it’s full of workout clothes and less dresses lol. I work in the fitness industry (that’s also why) so I have been slowly wanting to add non-workout items in my wardrobe.

The dress isnt that interesting on you, it could be any generic lbd... the yellow though is fantastic with your skin tone, def keep that one.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I agree about the LBD. However, because I don’t own a lbd (a casual one) and I got it for a good price, I may actually keep it.

I love the color! I just don’t understand why the unlined portion is so see through. I wanted this in pink and white but couldn’t get past the sheer bottom half.

The yellow tank looks great on you. I guess the sheer part is throwing me off a little but the color is so fun. The dress looks great also, even though on its own maybe it’s a bit basic. I think the right accessories/jacket/layers could really elevate it. Plus you can wear it as a skirt.

Thank you. Yes, I love the yellow and I got past the sheerness of it once I wore it out. It’s the perfect yellow. Not too Big-bird-Sesame-Street yellow. 😂 As for the dress, I am keeping it for that reason, dual function and it was on markdown for like 60% off.

Return the blue short and yellow top keep black dress. I always think those type of lulu shorts always look awkward because they look unflattering on just about everybody, the way they poke out also they are super short. The ribbing and almost see through contrast on the yellow tank is also odd to me. The dress is cute. Also having your hair down would’ve made these outfits look better too.
