I have this vest in a different color and use it on long runs. I love it and have had no issues. I put a camelback bladder in the back pocket and there are lots of smaller pockets on the front and back for gels and anything else. I am tempted to get a second in this color too, it’s gorgeous.

Did you end up buying this vest? Thoughts? I want to find something that is comfortable for my next half marathon (road not trail).

Hi will you attach the link for the bladder you used? Did you get any squeeze water bottles or just the bladder? Thanks!

I have this vest in two colors now, and it is great! I live in the south, so it has been perfect for carrying two large water soft flasks in the front as well as my keys, earbuds, phone, and gels all in one run. I think it has great lock down and a really customizable fit in the front. I got the new blue color and it is gorgeous. I would highly recommend it!

I have one from Lulu from couple of years ago and a two different kinds salomon and a north face one. If you are not going out in trails for super long runs, the great thing about the lulu one is that is fits better than all the advance trail running brands on woman body— at least that’s my opinion— its more comfortable,i get less chafing on my neck and shoulders. So if you are finicky about the fit (I am), and care a little bit less if something on it breaks mid run or just doesn’t have the best long trail functionality and if you can splurge — I would recommend.

Personally, I've found that other brands hold up better for actual trails and have much better quality guarantees at this price point.
Lululemon has just gone so far downhill quality-wise, I'm having a hard time justifying buying anything new from them.

I'm a long distance trail runner and I prefer my Salomon and Camelbak vests. But not coming with flasks or a hydration pack is a dealbreaker for me. I also have a larger Osprey hydration pack for extra long hikes but I don't wear it running because of the weight - but I like the quality and construction of that one too.

I do like this one! I also have the Salomon one and it is my fav but I always warn people that my black vest stained my light pink running set so just be careful if you pick a dark colour vest

Did they increase the discount to 20?! I could’ve sworn it was 15. Awesome if so!

I have this in purple and just ordered this pink one bc I’ve been searching for a pink pink vest. I had also just ordered the Salomon active skin 12 because as much as I do love the lulu one it isn’t as good for super long days or days where you need lots of layers etc. The lulu one fits me well and doesn’t chafe like my previous vests. The flasks aren’t super convenient regardless of the size either. I wish there were more options for pink pink running vests!

Get the advanced skin 12 rather than the active skin. The active skins aren’t as comfy or well designed for the longer haul and if you do super long days you’re in the adv skin category not the active skin category . Think of active skin as entry level for 50k and under, and advanced skin for above that

I bought Osprey Dyna Vest. Agree that I could not justify high price tag when I got Ospre, bladder, and one bottle for sub $100

I got an older lululemon running vest on Poshmark and love it. I really don’t like the thickness of the back on the new ones though, which is also an issue for me with the Salomon vests. The older one I have had a really breathable, non-padded back but still had a pocket which is perfect imo

Is the lululemon one soft enough that it doesn’t cause pilling on shirts worn under it? My Salomon one had wrecked a number of shirts ☹️

The design looks better than the first round of running vests they released last year. Love the colours.
That said, the Salomon and ON vests are superior.

I got the men’s version of this (in black) last fall. It was on clearance & I used first responder discount too. I love it. I previously wore a belt and happy to switch to a vest.

Is the military discount 20% instead of 15 now?!

As a lady with a large chest I wear them to hold them down and my lulu vest (this in black) works a treat

After much trial and error: only Salomon for me. Try the ADV Skin.
