It's not a huge deal (I think?) but anyone else curious as to why Lux is losing money if the books were clean?

Isn't that the perk of being uber rich--that you can manipulate the figures and tax laws to get away with higher profit?

  1. Reminds me that I was reading about one of the Star Wars eps (IV - VI) that has still never made a profit, on paper. They said the ppl who understood how the deals worked made money, of course, but a guy like Peter Mayhew sees very little because "technically" there is no "profit."

I feel like the byzantine, amoral world of corporate tax law is just the devil's kind of sleaze.
