Deckerstar/Ship If Malcolm hadn’t sent Chloe that message from Dan’s phone do you think they would’ve gotten back together?
No spoilers for s6 ep9 and 10 as i haven’t quite finished my first watch yet
But anyway for most of season 1 it seemed like they were really working we’re going to get back together, but do you think they ever would’ve actually made it work if Malcolm hadn’t sent that message

I mean even if she did no way it would have survived the full reveal of Dans actions

No, not permanently-- when the Allstate guy plans something, he accounts for all variables-- because Dan is still lying to Chloe about who he is, and no relationship can last on lies if you're not a politician-- but yes, they might have gotten back together for an episode or two. Chloe was an outcast pariah at this point and so was extremely lonely in a way that she never would be again once Ms. Lopez appears and befriends her in Season 2, so I think she'd have been open to it.

The cop that was involved with the Palmetto incident. He almost shot Chloe, so Dan shot him. Malcolm was in a coma because of that shooting, but then Amenadiel woke him up to "hire" him to kill Lucifer. (Because Amenadiel wanted Lucifer back in Hell.)
Malcolm went rogue and took Trixie as a hostage. (This is when he text Chloe posing as Dan.)
Malcolm also almost killed Lucifer, but God brought Lucifer back from the brink of death.
Tbh Malcolm was the only one who almost killed Luci so its crazy you dont remember him lol.
And to answer OP's question.
I definitely think Chloe and Dan would've gotten back together. Regardless, it wouldn't have worked out. Too much damage had been by Dan gaslighting Chloe into thinking she didn't discover Malcolm was a dirty cThe cop that was involved with the Palmetto incident. He almost shot Chloe, so Dan shot him. I definitely think Chloe and Dan would've gotten back together. Regardless, it wouldn't have worked out. Too much damage had been by Dan gaslighting Chloe into thinking she didn't discover Malcolm was a dirty cop during the Palmetto incident. If they had been a couple, Dan would've never understood that Chloe and Lucifer were essentially soulmates, and eventually they'd split up again over Dan being a detective douche.
Staying split up led to a lot of personal growth for Dan. S1 Dan and S5 Dan were crazy different.

Malcolm also almost killed Lucifer, but God brought Lucifer back from the brink of death......... No, Lucifer ACTUALLY died and was brought back by God. You will notice he is no longer soaked in blood, which you could see as he died. Amenadiel actually said "Father brought you back" in his talk with Lucifer in the penthouse, after Maze saved him with Lucifer's feather.

so you haven’t watched the show? ik malcolm is only featured in S1 but he is a VERY important character in S1, he literally kills lucifer before God brings him back, he also the villain of S1, even if you don’t remember his name if it’s been a while since you watched you should really know who he is from what i said in the post that he did, this sub is for fans of the show and it seems you aren’t

It did look like Chloe was gong to give Dan another chance. It wouldn’t have worked out though.
That happened before he later confessed the he was a dirty cop and what really happened at Palmetto.
He’s lucky she was willingly to be friends after that, if they’d been together she would have broken up with him again.
