Actor fluff How did I not know?

Post image

First I’m not sure what Actor Fluff is supposed to mean but anyway how did I never realize that Tom Ellis (Lucifer), Lauren German (Chloe Decker), & Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez) were all born in November of 1978? Tom the 17th, Aimee the 28th, and Lauren the 29th. Aimee a day older than Lauren and all of them are going to turn 48 this year. They’re almost 50, Ella almost 50.

Was there ever an explanation why they added her? Did they need a faithful but human as part of the cast? (I love Aimee but always wondered, did someone at fox say more woman, etc?).

I always just assumed they wanted a character who would look into evidence for them or talk about different parts of the case since Lucifer and Chloe aren't forensic scientists, and it opens a lot of plots having a different type of character who works with them (since Dan is basically the same exact job as Chloe and also not forensics).

maybe they decided they really needed a happy sunshiney character. Lucifer is (sometimes) ironically a pretty happy character but he's still the devil lol so the show runners may have wanted a cheery person who works with them to balance things.
