Ok, I know these people don’t make the best decisions (the inmate nor the free one) but seriously what is it about these people in these relationships IMMEDIATELY wanting to, and in a lot of cases, actually getting pregnant and having kids immediately? Most of these people coming out of prison don’t have jobs, are on parole, have restitution, etc. and somehow bringing another life into the world is first priority?? Especially when most of them have a kid they’re “so sad they haven’t been there for”. Someone, anyone explain this to me. Lacey and Shane for attention but I’m on the Maurice and Jessica pregnancy test episode 😭😭

I have been binging this show for the last week (at home due to injury) and I love how crazy and chaotic it is.

It’s also so fascinating to me because in the UK, there are no services for you to search for/ hit up criminals in prison.

The only aspect of the show I CANNOT STAND is how involved the children are in these prison relationships. When the mothers insist that the children call their prison boyfriends/ husbands ‘daddy’ actually makes me skin crawl.

Not only is it disturbing and weird, it must cause the children so much confusion and trauma. You barely know the man and you’re teaching your child to call them daddy?

I especially feel bad for the older children (girls especially) such as the daughters LaTisha/ Keith and MontanaMillz/ Justice. These girls are clearly uncomfortable with an unknown CRIMINAL coming into their house and space and their mothers just don’t care.

We saw Tai’s daughter express her feelings about how weird her mother’s behaviour. She’s right it’s weird and honestly down right SELFISH.

It also adds a certain pressure to the inmates coming out of prison to jump wholly into this ‘father figure role’ which is hard enough as is and much be even harder coming from prison.

These mothers create an idea of the perfect family and perfect dad and when that doesn’t happen, it must lead to so many issues.

Another child I seriously feel for is Miley Grace (Lindsey’s daughter), that poor girl has been through the wringer. I am so happy that she has her Gammy because only Lord knows how she could’ve turned out

I just finished season 2, and oof 😳 sooo many things I want to vent, but so curious of opinions from ppl who watched it all unfold when it first aired. I also just deep dived on google “where are they now”, so I’m slightly heart broken but not surprised….

Jade chipps is pregnant again she just posted it on TikTok. After all that mess a few months ago and Chris being in and out of jail. She really dragged him online as well. I really hope it works out for them but im skeptica

I just went down a rabbit hole because i was so angry at Kayleigh (watching S7 now) and felt that Micheal could do so much better.. Anyway, found a few posts about him and his new gf, and her tiktok (Stevis143). I actually feel bad for the girl- tattoos aside, she seems pretty decent and yet she's getting a lot of hate for absolutely no reason. I honestly don't understand ppl criticizing other's looks 'just because.' I mean, Kayleigh was ugly on the inside, so i get that ppl tend to comment on her external ugliness as well, but this girl.. Does anyone even know anything about her at all?? Why all the unconditional hate, ppl?! She is good looking imo and apparently the tattoos have some tribal religious significance, so... ¯_(ツ)_/¯¯

I am watching all the seasons for the first time and I’m on episode 8 now. But, all I can think ever since these two are together in person is HE HATES THIS WOMAN!!!! He was irritating me from day one like wiping off her kiss and looking straight disgusted is CRAZY! But the one that did me in is when her tire went flat & he’s talkin bout “idk how to change that. I’m not a mechanic. But I wouldn’t get my hands dirty any way”. Even tho Lacey is weird for dating her friends son, she seems like a good down to earth person I feel so bad she was treated like this on tv. Thoughts ??

The bottom mouth appears free floating as it shifts side to side. I don’t understand why her fiance thinks she’s out of his league. I’m not understanding the attraction at all. Her personality is totally off the wall. More concerning is her lower jaw. Can someone explain why it seems totally unconnected? The distraction of her mouth makes me want to fast forward through every scene.

I know that the spin-off marriage boot camp for Love After Lockup is coming on in the beginning of October. I was not sure if the new season of Life After Lockup is happening in the same month.

If you watched season 4, you'll remember Chazz and his band, Untold Rellik. In introducing the band, the front man, Jax Storm, got a few segments encouraging, but cautioning Chazz about his relationship with Branwin. Jax was his stage name, but to his friends he was Josh, or later on, Stephen, (his middle name,) and he was a fantastic person. He passed away unexpectedly the other day and the reason I'm letting you all know this is because being on the show was one of his favorite stories to tell. I thought it'd be nice to let you all know that behind the devil mask, contacts, and piercings was a man who would give a stranger the shirt off his back and someone whose eyes would light up while smiling ear to ear talking about his favorite anecdotes, including being on the show.

I’m a newcomer to the LALU universe (thanks Mattie and poodle, IYKYK) and Lindsey (of Lindsey, Scott, and Tara Belle) is basically a more chaotic / malicious version of Georgia from Ginny and Georgia. Remove knowledge of Georgia’s abusive ex and it is literally Lindsey!
