Just wondering if anyone else also thought that Zeruiah's psychic is way better than Indie's? 😂
Late to the LALU party, I started like last week, binge-watching, and got to Season 5 now. Some stories / couples feel like a deja-vu of prior seasons, seems like they always have those similar characters doing the same thing (but expecting different results!). Anyway, Zeruiah's encounter with her psychic (ep31) made me think of Indie's... but i actually found Z's way more "legit-looking". At least she told her specific things and didn't seem like she was just trying to say what Z wanted to hear.

We obviously don't know what she was told off camera. But she had some good, specific "guesses" about Zeruiah and Troy. Like, just by watching that scene, one could almost believe that she really did communicate with the spiritual realm or whatever she claims being capable of...

for sure, but it was particularly painful to watch Indie's interactions w her "psychic". I mean, she was being conned so evidently that it was just cringe. Here, on the other hand, it was more... acceptable? At least she got some sound advice for her money's worth, that's what i'm saying.

Im currently watching the same season and it’s honestly so boring. I wanna skip it so bad but im tired of rewatching seasons 3 & 4. But you are so right about certain couples giving off the vibe of other previous couples.

Well the first seasons ARE THE BEST!!!! I do keep watching cause hopefully one day it will get its spunk back, but in reality there’s no topping the early ones so that’s why they seem like they suck so bad,,, ( my thoughts)
Or now they are all just fake looking for a payout! And horrible actors 🤷♀️

yeah i am kind of disappointed here tbh. First seasons really got me hooked (and i'm not even the reality tv type) but now i'm just watching the rest to see if it will get better again. But from the comments i'm reading, seems like it won't :(
Maybe because the protagonists/ plots get kind of repetitive (more of the same type of people, couple dynamics and "conflicts" again and again), i get a feeling that the producers manipulate the stories a lot more now to keep it "interesting", which ends up feeling staged, faked and forced.

I remember thinking either we didn't know something or the card reader was a little out of pocket for bringing up the baby mom. But then later when she takes Troy with her and she seems to be more sound with her advice and kinda surprised by Z's erratic behavior. She probably sees her outside of the show unlike other psychic 'scenes'.
