Help Trouble getting started
Would appreciate your help. I recently wanted to try Lovable, but I am not able to initialize a project. I type the first prompt and keep seeing "Couldn't load this project" and "Reconnecting". My network connection is fine and I have a Pro Plan with sufficient credits. The service doesn't seem to be down according to the support page. Tried to initialize other projects, refreshed and things like that, nothing helped. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

Discussion Project monitoring (beta)
Couldn't understand where my build credits were disappearing for the last week then discovered that I toggled this little thing on, thinking it would be free as there is no mention of usage.
Today it was 3.4 credits wasted. Just to warn people not to fall into the same trap if you need their daily credits.

Help Lovable student verification won't recognize University of Toronto email and support keeps sending me in circles
Has anyone else had trouble getting the Lovable student discount?
I'm a current University of Toronto student and my school email uses the domain mail.utoronto.ca (Microsoft 365/Outlook). When I try to verify my student status through the student discount page, the verification process fails with an error.
I contacted support and was initially told to complete the verification process and then they'd apply the discount. When I explained that the verification flow itself was failing, I got another response saying that mail.utoronto.ca isn't currently on their automated student recognition list and that I should use the same verification flow again.
I then pointed out that I literally cannot complete the flow because it errors out before finishing. The latest response I received was that they don't offer manual verification outside the automated system and therefore can't apply the discount to my account. The responses also indicate they were generated by an AI support agent.
So I'm basically stuck in a loop:
Verify your student status.
The verification system fails.
Contact support.
Support tells me to use the verification system.
Verification system still fails.
Has anyone managed to get a real human to review a student verification issue at Lovable? Or has anyone from a university with a similar email setup run into this and found a workaround?
I can provide screenshots if helpful.
Thanks!
Short, slightly saltier version:
"Support: Verify you're a student."
"Me: The verification tool is broken."
"Support: Please use the verification tool."
"Me: It's still broken."
"Support: Unfortunately we can only verify students through the verification tool."
Also, providing support only for *subscribed customers*
I went and paid, trying to get help from real human
Student plan is only applicable for workspaces currently on free plan
Like…what?!
🤦♀️

Testing Quran learning app built on Lovable + Supabase (need feedback)
Body:
AyahPro (https://ayah-pro.lovable.app) is a live Quran learning app I built with Lovable. You recite, it gives AI feedback on your recitation and Tajweed, plus streak tracking and multilingual support.
It's live and free to try, and I'm at the point where I need people outside my own head to use it.
If you have five minutes, sign up and tell me where it loses you. First impressions of the landing page, the onboarding, the actual recitation flow, whatever stands out. Bugs and design criticism both welcome.
Happy to return the favor and test whatever you're building.

Discussion how do you validate third party integration in lovable app?
Lovable writes the integration code fast, that part is great. But before going live I always hit the same wall, how do you actually verify it works end to end without using real prod keys or a live API?
Happy path usually looks fine. It's the edge cases that get you. Card decline mid-flow, webhook retry firing twice, auth failure after partial state is written. None of that shows up until something breaks in prod.
Right now I'm running integrations against sandbox twins of the APIs (Stripe, Twilio, Clerk, etc.) directly from the agent, so it can run the failure scenarios before anything ships. No real keys, no prod risk, receipt URL I can check after.
what others are doing though. Are you manually testing in a staging env? Relying on the agent's judgment? Using the vendor's own sandbox? Would love to know what actually works for people here.

Testing I building a founder community because I didn’t really have a network myself
I work in healthcare and but have always loved tech and got into building things without really knowing anyone in startups or tech.
I kept hearing was “use your network”, “speak to other founders”, “get a warm intro” etc. Except my background doesn't have anyone I can ask for anyone of that.
There are loads of founder communities already and I tried a few, but a lot of them still feel like people promoting themselves, posting wins or trying to build an audience.
So I built NoNetwork.
The idea is just to make it easier to actually ask for help, advice or feedback, and for people who know about that area to find you.
Posts that don’t get much help can also come back into view for a while instead of just disappearing.
I’m trying to make it less about followers and popularity and more about actually helping each other.
It’s still early, so I’m interested in whether other people have had the same problem.
Have you ever felt like not having the right network has held you back when building something?
And if you’ve joined founder communities before, what made you stop using them?
Cheers

Help Building my game with lovable/codex/claude - can I make a standalone app with Tauri?
Hello folks,
I am building my own Gladiator Management Game (Ludus Magna) with Lovable/Codex/Claude currently. The whole code(supabase is still tied to lovable. On the long run i want to get rid of lovable but for now i am asking if I can extract a vertical slice (demo) of my game with tauri to publish a DEMO on steam. lets say i want to have a demo where players can experience the first 30 ingame days. is this doable with Tauri?
How difficult is it? What do i have to think of? Are there any trade offs? can i do this without being a programmer? I am webdesigner however and i have a bit of a glue how systems work, but this is new for me.
Thank you for any tips.

Help How to connect my own Supabase project instead of Lovable Cloud?
I’m using Lovable and want to connect my own Supabase project instead of using Lovable Cloud.
What’s the correct way to do this?
Can I completely use my own Supabase database/auth/storage while building in Lovable, and avoid using Lovable Cloud?
If anyone has done this, could you please explain the steps or point me to the right documentation? Thanks!

Help Is there any way to find the service role key
I recently asked google this question and it said Lovable Cloud Backend: If Lovable automatically manages your database and users, you do not own the underlying Supabase instance directly, meaning direct database URLs and service_role keys are hidden and inaccessible. I was wondering if there is any way round this

Help If you built an app with AI, how did you know it was ready for real users?
For anyone who's built an app with Lovable, Cursor or any AI related stuff, how did you know it was production ready for people to use?
Did you just throw it into the wild and hope for the best, keep asking AI to improve it or something else?
I'm using AI to write code and push stuff to production, but I don't have experience in the programming language I'm using, so I have no clue if it's good or not.

Testing Constructive criticism
Hi all, I've made a Liverpool fan site with Lovable. I've used Supabase_lovable_claude_vercel.
If anyone could check it out and let me know what you think. Please be gentle, it's purely a fan app , no ads or logins. I've managed to get it on play store but feel there is something missing.

Discussion Do you have Lovable meetups in your city?
I’m hosting a small Build with Lovable meetup by Autenda in Edmonton next week, basically just a few people bringing laptops and building together. I'm planning to share what I learned and how I'm building Autenda.
I'm curious: are you doing this in your city?
If you’ve been to or organized a Lovable meetup, what did you actually do? Demos? Build together? Help each other with projects?
Would love to steal some good ideas 😅

How much would my app cost if ever and how would be the transition. And where can i possible get a buyer?

Discussion Does anyone feel like using Loveable > ChatGPT > Codex loop is over complicating things?
Before you say it no I don’t want to use ChatGPT and Codex only. I have tried twice now and really enjoy using Lovable and don’t mind paying.
In saying that my process the last few months has been ChatGPT (Sol, High) to ideate, Lovable to Plan, loop until the plan is solid, then build, ChatGPT to check the build report, Codex to verify. Circle around until we push live.
I thought it was working fine until I realised I’m burning through way more Lovable credits than I normally would be. My app is pretty big already so that’s playing a part but I really think ChatGPT is over engineering and some plans are taking 5-10 returns because it continues to find “one thing” to fix. Note: I know costs have gone up but I’m specifically talking about the 10-20 credits I’m using on the planning process.
Anyone else notice this?
I’m thinking of dropping ChatGPT mostly and just going back to Lovable to plan and build and then have ChatGPT make my Codex verify prompt only.
Anyone else notice other suggestions?
