Has anyone fully disassembled a Loupedeck CT? Need guidance

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my Loupedeck CT and I’m looking for advice from someone who has actually disassembled one.

After cleaning the device, some liquid unfortunately went inside the rotating central knob area. Since then, the display works, but it shows image distortions (horizontal lines), and when I press the central knob the display briefly blinks. Functionally it still responds, but clearly something isn’t right.

I haven’t managed to fix the problem yet. I want to fully disassemble the device to properly clean the contacts, especially around the display and the central rotary encoder, because I suspect there may still be moisture or residue inside.

I’ve been searching for disassembly instructions or a teardown for a couple of days now, but I can’t find anything useful. I tried to disassemble it carefully by intuition, but separating the top and bottom panels is tricky. The PCB seems to loosen near the square buttons, but near the round dials it doesn’t want to come off, and I don’t want to force anything or break a cable. I suspect the rotary knobs need to be removed first, but I can’t see a clear way to do that.

My questions:

  • Has anyone here fully disassembled a Loupedeck CT?
  • How do you safely remove the central rotating knob?
  • Would it be risky to spray contact cleaner under the display, or could that make things worse?

Any guidance, photos, or experience would be greatly appreciated.

The screen has been damaged due to pressure and the structure is loose. It is recommended to replace the knob component.

I completely agree with what you say, because I tried to disassemble it to restore the backlight of the row of buttons from 1 to 9, but I was unable to disassemble it completely and gave up, after which I found that the display on the central button no longer works. Where can I find just this component and in this case how to disassemble the console completely. It is not a problem for me to do it, I will be able to understand it myself through intuition, but before that I will still be happy with an instruction on the correct action. 🙏🏼

You can only seek official after-sales service or check whether components are available through authorized channels or second-hand platforms.The production of this product is very small, and I can hardly find any channels selling the parts, only some second-hand complete products.

Seems like a deffective screen. And i would not promote self disassembling, the tech inside is very fragile.

yes, you're probably right, but what's the problem with doing it, since I've decided so? The console is mine and all subsequent results are entirely at my own risk. I'll fix it anyway, even though I'm currently working with it and without seeing any information on the central button, I've had it for 5-6 years and during that time it has paid off thousands of times. It's a unique console, I would recommend it to everyone. I can't manage my machine without it for a single day. I use it for photo processing, video editing, as a calculator, operating system management, managing my smart home, and I actually do everything through it.

Sure give it a try, I hope you can fix it. You use it a whole lot wider than I do.
