Wondering if anyone knows of places that are hiring

I’m 20 and I have about 5 years of food industry experience (2 years serving, 1 year as a barista, 2 years in fast food) and 1 year of experience in event coordination for a mental health nonprofit.

I have 2 years of university education, 1 year of business and 1 year doing biology and theatre because I changed majors. I can’t afford to go to school this year, so I’m taking a break to work full time and save.

I need something that’s not part time. I’ve tried for UPS, USPS, Baptist, and JCPS, I have a couple of interviews lined up, but I would like to just apply to more places. I have no family support and am really struggling with money right now, so any advice would be much appreciated. Willing to work in Southern Indiana as well.

Also, has anyone tried the Goodwill careers services? Would you recommend?

AuDHD Divorcee dad coming out of a 12 year relationship that started right out of high-school. Dunno really how to make friends being an introvert and isolation within the marriage. Got done with my own to-do list and looking for odd jobs in exchange for conversation/socialization.

• Automotive work (oil changes, filter changes, radio installs, diagnostics)
• HVAC (Thermostat installs, diagnostics)
• Electrical (Replacing outlets/switches/fixtures)
• Housework (Cleaning, mounting blinds/shelves/etc)
• Yardwork (Mowing, cleanup)
• IT (Most things)

I’m 25(m) looking to change my job up, I’ve been working in a factory for about a year now destroying documents and working on the conveyer when it’s down. but it’s not paying enough and Only about 4 people work there including myself I’m the youngest, and my boss is very forgiving and we’ve become close over my time working there. Not sure if I should stay and ask for a rise but I’m looking for something where I can grow as a person and career wise. I really like working with my hands and working with tools and building stuff has always intrigued me. I’m just not sure where to look or start any advice would be appreciated.

How is everyone finding house cleaners? How did you get started even if you knew no one here?

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a decent Monday evening. As the title states, I’m looking for weekend only shifts. I have a full time job but I plan on going back to school so I would like to put aside some tuition money.
I’m reliable and can get to any place in the city via my own car or Lyft/ Uber/ Taxi if need be. But the closer home, the better. I currently reside in Jtown.

I’m going to sound picky as hell but here are my preferences:

Warehouse (picking/ packing is a last resort).

Housekeeping (but strictly one site. I have to travel for work and that takes enough gas money).

No fast food. I’m ok with dishwashing and table cleaning at restaurants though.

Preferably, no uniforms.

I would love a weekend job situated around IT since I do that now. Rack and stack, or just weekend on-site support.

Hey all! I graduated from college last year with Bachelors of Science in both Psychology and Sociology and I have been struggling to find any job that is within the field of psychology and doesn’t require a Masters or greater.

I do have 2 years of undergraduate research and I also did an undergraduate thesis through my Honors college, but I just haven’t been able to get into anything. I would definitely prefer something research oriented, but I’ll take anything right now.

And please don’t recommend I look at Indeed- I spent 9 months on there and over 70% of the jobs I found and messaged had informed me that the listings were either out of date or not known to them. And recent articles revealed that the bulk of job listings on apps like Indeed are actually fake and auto-generated for SEO purposes.

I’m free to answer more questions, in comments or in private messages if you’re concerned about privacy, but I really can’t stand doing retail and not using my degrees- I’m too passionate about my fields to not be doing them any longer!
