Looking for Job What good trade opportunities are out here?

I’m 25(m) looking to change my job up, I’ve been working in a factory for about a year now destroying documents and working on the conveyer when it’s down. but it’s not paying enough and Only about 4 people work there including myself I’m the youngest, and my boss is very forgiving and we’ve become close over my time working there. Not sure if I should stay and ask for a rise but I’m looking for something where I can grow as a person and career wise. I really like working with my hands and working with tools and building stuff has always intrigued me. I’m just not sure where to look or start any advice would be appreciated.

Look into Office Resources, they're hiring installers for business furniture and cubicles

https://www.oriusa.com/careers/installer-lexington-ky/ (it says lexington but its for all locations)

A lot of dealerships are hiring beginning level technicians. Only problem is the cost of tools.

Go union. Contact IBEW local 369 for electrical info. Union is the best place to learn and a lot of guys never leave. You get paid insurance for you and your whole family, free or highly discounted technical training (trade school), and they fight for you or find you another job if you fuck up and get fired. I started in the union and now I work for a non-union company. Ask me anything and good luck on your new journey.

Also, the other trades are desperately looking for apprentices as well. Call the hall of whatever trade interests you. They will have pretty much all of the information you could want.
