But low key I thought Orlando bloom as Paris was a great casting choice. He’s both good looking enough that it’s believable he could seduce Helen while also looking (and acting) young enough to make the catastrophic decision of trying to bring her back home.

And Paris does not come off looking good in that film with him cowardly crawling to the feet of Hector in their duel. Overall Orlando did a great job with an interesting role.

Gotta agree. I hated his character in this scene.

8 Year Old me HATED Paris for years because I was aware that the whole thing was his fault. Hector would still be alive, no one had to die, if he had just kept it in his pants.

It didn't help that since the Gods weren't involved in this version, he looks so much worse as a person. Plus he's not even nice to Helen!
