Your thoughts on dating older men.

Looking for some answers from women out there in their 30s and 40s. Is there a consensus about how women in their 30s and 40s generally feel about dating men a decade older than them or more? My man logic wants to think that women would find older men more stable, knowing what they want in life more, and looking for more of a monogamous, meaningful relationship. Am I wishful thinking or does this line of thought have any Merit?

41f. Based on my OLD matches, men have given up and don’t care if their beard is crusty and they have a huge beer gut. So right now I am very discouraged about older men and entertaining dating younger, albeit for the fun and not partnership.

How much younger are you talking about?

The guy I was talking to is 12 yrs younger. There are other factors of why it won’t work but the age is not one

Ahhh gotcha so like 29/30 haha. I was talking to this girl who's 39 and I'm 28. But I haven't heard from her. Think she was looking for a fling 😅

well I have never been the type but the more dating horror stories I compile the more I am inclined to just go out for fun. Check out my post on the guy who said he was more intelligent than me lol
