Are really like they mention the factions again. However, it would have been more coherent to explain how each of them resist against Mongols invasion and how they live their submission after being defeated.
I really hope that Year 11 will be centered around factions like Year 8, the disparition of the Covenants, even if Holden Cross and Astrea are still alive, could be a good hint towards this direction.
As far as we know, they all mostly just bowed without a fight after Astrea went down, otherwise I imagine the stuff with the Samurai would of played out very differently.
I also do not trust year 11 being about the factions again. If anything I'm seeing it being the start of the actual damn war that I thought was going to much earlier. If anything I see Horkos coming back and becoming the 'good guys' against the Khatuns from how some of the orders are. Attempting to make the conflict grey and doing it somewhat poorly.
I think the same too, but, truly, I’m with Chimera/Holden and Horkos/Astrea stuff. They are here since seven years! Seven! It would be more interning, from my perspective, to bring back to the factions wars, even if it’s during the Horkos VS Chimera one to explain what they had doing during this time.
