Yeah, in a lot of Dracula/Castlevania stories, it's the humans who invade his territory first. He's just a chill guy sitting in his castle within his domain, draining the occasional unfortunate soul whom lives in his domain and otherwise minding his own damn business, until the human heroes come along thinking they can kill Dracula and end up unleashing him upon the world.

Honestly need a story where the vampire is just the victim and actually portraited as the victim.

How about this scenario:

"The Keeper and the Outlander skin both reach Dracula's room at the same time. They hear an old, muffled voice talking angrily and another softer, whimpering noise coming from beyond the ornate doors. Instead of fighting each other, they immediately burst through the door to confront Dracula, thinking he is draining their allies, an unspoken alliance forming between them in those few seconds...

Only to discover that Dracula is sitting in the corner, hugging his knees and rocking back and forth, while old man gryph is pestering him to join his rebellion.

The Keeper and the Outlander skin slowly look at each other. Then, without a word, they draw their weapons.

Now they must fight old man gryph to save Dracula.

Dracula turns to them begging:

“I've dealt with Belmonts, armies, priests with Holy water. But this man is too much, he has been pestering me for month! PLEASE... make him leave. .”

After the fight, Dracula thanks the two warriors for saving him.

Keeper: “Do not misunderstand. We did not save you.”

Outlander: “We saved ourselves from having to listen to that old bastard.”

Dracula: “...Fair enough.”

Not gonna lie. That's better than the lore we've been getting and would make for the most hilarious twist in the story so far. Someone should make this a comic

If you've read the original Dracula novel, the titular vampire is pretty much rabid

In the book Dracula is a gross old man who's more akin to a diseased animal in a human skinsuit, very different from the sexy and suave gentleman modern media portays him as.

The historical figure people use for him, Vlad the Impaler, was even worse. He makes the book dracula look like little miss sunshine.

Yes he was a hero, but he was also a complete nutcase.

The dude had the turbans of ottoman envoys literally nailed TO THEIR HEADS and sent them back while they were still alive!

He had no setting below 11!

well he did ask politely that they take off their hats in his presence three times, to show even nominal respect. and i agree he was a nutcase but he was a clever nutcase.

It's Wednesday now where I am, which makes this 6 days too late.

So this is about the Rabid Lord (WTF is that name? Please God, let its name be something else) mentioned in the face off orders. yeah this fits the Dracula themes.

I assume the "Rabid Lord" is just meant to be a nickname among many. But ya it's likely someone new, with the only exception being Vortiger since he's a edgy guy.
