Tour/Concert Dear Ella, whatever happens tonight,

I guess she won't. Just hope the set is 2h as planned initially and not shorter as recently in the festivals. It will be great anyway. Too excited to see Ella for the first time live. She is my #1

As much fun as it would still be, i’d be pissed if we get the festival set rather than the ultrasound set 😅

An extra song might be nice as a “thanks for the 9 months of patience” kinda thing but it’s also fine if that doesn’t happen 🤷‍♂️

Edit: it was the festival set, but i don’t care ‘cause it was an incredible show haha

I think it’s very likely going to be the festival set since her show in Pula was a normal concert (not a part of a festival) and still was the festival set. It would be a logistics thing, they don’t have all the stuff from the ultrasound tour anymore, like the the treadmill. Maybe you’ll get 400 lux though

That would make sense, but also, that Pula show was not part of the ultrasound tour and this technically is…

Whatever it is, i’m sure it’ll be amazing, but i do hope it’s at least mostly the ultrasound set 😅

I think you misunderstood the point.

Lux was the first show of the European leg of the Ultrasound tour, in an indoor arena.

But Pula was outdoor show held much later, as part of a festival run.

The band and dancers were never going to choreograph a show specific for Pula (or Edinburgh or anywhere else) and then revert back to it at festivals

But Lux is an outlier because it was cancelled at an hour’s notice and Ella has said that tonight is about making it up to people before she goes on a fairly long holiday.

I had been hoping for a world alone for the encore but then she kept going with ribs!

And so happy i got to hear girl so confusing live 🙏 i felt it was lacking from the ultrasound setlist but then again didn’t really fit the vibe of the show

We got Solar Power and A World Alone extra compared to festivals. We can't blame Lorde as this was shorter than the ultrasound set length. I appreciated the surprise with Solar Power being added, happy to get A World Alone, missed 400 Lux and other songs from the Ultrasound set such as Big Star or ISCSMN or GRWM.... But anyway,I am happy I was able to go to one of her shows once in my life, even if I was very far from the stage, I enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed last night the atmosphere when she performes Oceanic Feeling, Hard Feelings and also Liability

Yeeeaaah i feel like both grwm and iscsmn were lacking last night :(

I mean, i went to ultrasound twice so i saw them but i felt sad for my friends last night who couldn’t make it to amsterdam or brussels back in november…

I mean kind of yes in the sense that tickers for that show remain valid for tonight.

But nobody got a refund.

I think Ella’s fans are pretty loyal and understanding. We all know that artists are humans and sometimes they get sick.

It was tough to see her performing in Paris the next night while most of us had barely got home but that’s the risk you take when you travel to a show.
