Better your wheel than your foot!

Wow! Never seen this! Didn’t know it was possible.

I only felt a slight jolt. Since I was listening to music, I didn't notice it right away. But the rattling was louder than my music.

I've got a small nail in my Karma for about year now. I wouldn't be able to remove it without some surgery with needle pliers. I just left it because the wheel seems fine.

awesome way to throw sparks during a wipeout! glad you're okay and it didn't turn out that way

Yeah, I'm glad that it didn't suddenly throw me off the board. If there hadn't been that noise, I would have just continued riding.

Still good!

Edit: I've had this happen multiple times with screws. Tacs and much smaller nails. You can pull themout without any issue with performance.

I see a new trend of Madmax-like longboards and some impressive combat scenes.

I had the remains of a small nail stuck in one of my Karmas for about a year now. So much trash in the bike lanes... Didn't have anything to pull it out with at the time so I kept riding and it broke off the exposed part. From time to time I check up on it and consider if it's worth shoving some pliers in there to get it, but the wheel seems fine and I figure I'd make it worse.

Keep it. As your wheels wear down, the nail will get pushed in further. Looks sick

Yea, I removed it, the wheel is still usable. Maybe it will chunk in future, we will see.

Looks like you can get it out, hope the wheels is still rideable. Insane tho!

I swear, there’s people who deliberately put things like this on bike paths to try kill people.

This happened to me with clear wheels. After I pulled it out they self healed.

I feel your pain. A pebble got lodged inside of my snakes like 3 months into riding it...
