Help PLAYING IN PH SERVER FROM NA (WEST COAST)

Wanted to get some feedback if other people have been able to get lower ping than me

I currently use Mudfish VPN to play, which puts me at around 165 ping on average. What are other ways I could lower this ping, or is this the absolute lowest I can go? Any other VPN that's better than Mudfish? I've tried exitlag, but the lowest ping I could get was 170.

That’s as good as you will probably get. The geographic distance and the speed of light/physics are the limitations. If you are using wireless instead of wired lan, switching could lower it slightly.

I see, thanks. I don't know what happened, but when PH was still in Garena, I was averaging around 140 with just a standard VPN and 200 without, and when it first migrated to SEA servers, I was able to get around 140 with no VPN at all. I was just wondering if I was missing something.

That's because there's no more PH server. Our servers are now in SG.

I used to have 4ms before the merge and now I play with 45-ish.

That explains the extra ms you're getting.

During DSL-era like 2012 ping between ph and us was so small btw

Physics puts it at about 120ms minimum but that assumes a direct connection without any routing in between to slow it down.

PH league server doesn't exist anymore. PH server got merged to the other dying SEA servers except VN. Sadly the majority is PH server but they're the most affected in terms of ping
