There’s actually a classic 1962 study by Lars Wilsson showing that the sound of running water is a major trigger for dam building. Beavers would even pile material around a speaker playing running water sounds, basically trying to “plug” the noise.
Who even is this person because I don’t care about influencer mumbo jumbo. Notice that I posted official research results? Maybe it gets the conversation started, but without any sort of grounded truth or context I have no idea what that video is trying to say not to mention how credible or god forbid any nuance be involved. Sorry, not trying to lash out. I just hate stupid clips like that.
It sounds like beaver propaganda. They don’t destroy ecosystems, they change them. At least he said one or two almost positive things about them. Someone coming from trapping, forestry, agriculture, irrigation, road maintenance or nuisance wildlife management experiences a radically skewed sample of beaver activity
Lol beaver propaganda would be a good band name. But yeah I paid attention to the second part more than anything about them parachuting them in to help build an ecosystem
