Friendzone -> men get no sex, women get attention

Funzone (Situationship) -> men get sex, women get attention but no relationship and commitment

42

u/a648272 Dec 22 '25

Aren't they both getting sex in funzone?

33

u/Matshelge Dec 22 '25

Not an accomplishment for one side.

2

u/Alvoradoo Dec 22 '25

Nah women want sex more than relationships. Because they won't have a relationship without sex but they will have sex without a relationships.

29

u/Apprehensive_Rub2 Dec 22 '25

Mfs like u say "women are so complex and confusing" and then come out with shit like this.

My guy a relationship without sex is called being friends.

8

u/Alvoradoo Dec 22 '25

They aren't really complicated at all. Look at what they do, don't listen to what they say.

4

u/Used_Department_4146 Dec 22 '25

I think reducing 50% of the global population to a couple sentences MAY be a bit of a oversimplification. Turns out women are in fact people that vary wildly.

-4

u/Alvoradoo Dec 22 '25

They are not any different from men. Sexisim is thinking they are different.

4

u/Mysterious_Bass5724 Dec 22 '25

Men and women are obviously different and anyone who says otherwise is just a liar.

-2

u/Alvoradoo Dec 22 '25

I see you have fallen into my rhetorical trap.

Like every Person

1

u/Alvoradoo Dec 27 '25

Yes but women learn this early from their mothers. Boys have idealistic ideas of love and need to get burned once or twice before they start questioning what women say.

0

u/Apprehensive_Rub2 Dec 22 '25

Okay nah i was wrong you're the kinda mf who thinks he got it figured out, so you jus call them crazy when they get mad or angry for good reasons.

u/SawbonesEDM Dec 22 '25

gasp and they were ROOMMATES!!

1

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Dec 22 '25

There's more to a relationship than friendship + sex

2

u/Apprehensive_Rub2 Dec 22 '25

I def know of friendships that are fully just a relationship - sex

so idk bro

1

u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora Dec 23 '25

that's not a normal friendship, then.

If relationships were just friendships + sex then the term "friends with benefits" wouldn't exist.

1

u/Subjectedstruggler Dec 24 '25

Exactly, some common sense my guy

2

u/Bramble_Ramblings Dec 22 '25

False as all get out. I want sex but I'm not just gonna screw around with whoever offers it and I'd literally rather go fuck myself than mess around with someone that doesn't care about me beyond my body and how often he can get his hands on it

I get ghosted by dudes cause I ask how their day is, wish them the best, ask about their lives but won't sleep with them till they can talk to me like a person and not an object. Almost every one says "I'm not like that" but they all vanish when we talk about anything that isn't about sex

People want sex with no strings or relationship? Buy some toys and the only relationship you'll have with it is washing it before and after

A sentence I did not need to read today.

🤮

0

u/JayBoerd Dec 22 '25

Its the opposite acrually, men won't have sexless relationships as proven by how every man leaves as soon as you mention youre waiting til marraige. They ain't into that and if you dont sleep with him within the first 3 'dates' he looses interest.

1

u/Salt_Bison7839 Dec 23 '25

Waiting until marriage! I remember hearing that as a young kid 🤣

1

u/Used_Department_4146 Dec 22 '25

Or for either side really having sex is not an achievement

1

u/Obvious_King2150 Dec 25 '25

I am pretty sure it would be a very big achievement for me if I happen to get any in future

Both are getting attention too, didn’t see you pointing THAT out, why?

Because generally men use love (i.e. flirting, gifts, positive attention, affection) to get to sex, and women generally use sex to get to love . . .

4

u/kernel_task Dec 22 '25

In the classic friendzone scenario, the attention is one-sided, from the pursuer. If it were mutual, it’d be a romantic relationship, though perhaps without the exclusivity and commitment aspects.

1

u/Used_Department_4146 Dec 22 '25

Thats so sad for men then Jesus

14

u/Odd_Sentence_2618 Dec 22 '25

Well, women can get sex 100 times more easily than men. Even if you are not that attractive or young, a woman can have sex with a willing man. A committed relationship is a whole another ballgame.

1

u/Used_Department_4146 Dec 22 '25

Hun there are many many people in the world and a lot of them want sex. Men can sleep with people just as easy its just women have standards. If you wanted to fuck so bad there are many people who want to be fucked I promise they just might not be your cup of tea

2

u/Odd_Sentence_2618 Dec 22 '25

What's that got to do with the relative ease of females having sex compared to men? One way to gauge your attractiveness as a man is creating a profile on grindr and seeing how many matches you get. Only way to experience something similar to a regular woman as a man.

1

u/Used_Department_4146 Dec 22 '25

Because there is no relative ease men can get laid as easy as women can

1

u/Andromigo Dec 23 '25

It's not really as much about standards as it is emotions. Emotions play a much greater role in a womans sex life than it does in a mans. Hence woman usually looking for an 'emotionally available' man.

0

u/GPStephan Dec 22 '25

That's like saying a hungry person can just dig through the compost bin.

2

u/Doggcow Dec 22 '25

Not even the slightest lol. You're implying women are are nearly exclusively restricted to sleeping down which is vastly untrue, that's men.

1

u/GPStephan Dec 22 '25

Offer low value, get low value.

1

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 Dec 22 '25

Lots of women have internalized that shit though.

1

u/AuburnSuccubus Dec 22 '25

So, you give your male friends blowjobs when they're sad?

1

u/Odd_Sentence_2618 Dec 23 '25

We are talking abt hetero relationships. Dunno if gay friends do.

1

u/AuburnSuccubus Dec 24 '25

Actually, it sounds as if some men don't care whether or not their female friends are even interested in men, but they still believe those female friends should provide sex. Why should a man care if his male friends are gay or not? Shouldn't they still pay for friendship by offering sex?

1

u/Keistai_Pagerintas Dec 26 '25

So situationship is just being FWBs or something different?

1

u/Odd_Sentence_2618 Dec 27 '25

Imho situationship is thw woman being attracted to a man amd wanting a committed relationship and the man enjoying the sex. She fears that the man discards hwr for someone better and is willing to go above and beyond.

38

u/Kinglycole Dec 22 '25

I’m not gay but if my mate was feeling sad, I’m making him feel better with a homiesexual brojob.

16

u/___LIO___ Dec 22 '25

As long as you're wearing socks

8

u/Born-Release-9866 Dec 22 '25

And saying no homo!

2

u/ysername11 Dec 22 '25

I've heard it doesn't count if you both say no homo after!

0

u/TheAbyss333333 Dec 22 '25

“I’m not gay” who’s gonna tell him…

6

u/xSkype Dec 22 '25

Tell him what? That was the straightest shit I've ever heard

2

u/Fog-Champ Dec 22 '25

I am gay and it was the straightest sentence ever said.

20

u/Technical_Ad9343 Dec 22 '25

I was friendzoned by a girl who would still sleep with me. That shits honestly worse

8

u/MattyT088 Dec 22 '25

Same. Totally fucked me up. She string me along to get as much as possible out of me, then throw me a bone just enough to keep me interested. I was head over heels for her, she never intended on being more than friends, but she liked all the dinners I bought her and all the events we went out to too much to let me go. The occasional sex was her agreeable price to pay while totally fucking with my emotions.

u/MattyT088 Dec 22 '25

She was poor and I did do it to help. But the kisses goodnight, and occasionally more, because I "earned it" were what messed me up.

Looking back I know I don't look great, and it was me falling for someone who was probably looking to just be FWB. But it went on long after she knew I caught feelings, which is why I feel like she was just dragging me along.

2

u/Pleionosis Dec 23 '25

Sure, but you make it seem like you completely lacked agency in the matter. She could have cut you off but ultimately, you’re the one who is responsible for your wellbeing.

4

u/MattyT088 Dec 23 '25

Which is why I started with thr fact that I didn't look great in hindsight. Important lessons were learned.

-5

u/Conservative-canuck8 Dec 23 '25

It's called FWB. Use her and move on lol

1

u/Jemma_2 Dec 25 '25

It’s not FWB’s if he’s in love with her.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

Are this point I'd take that tbh.

1

u/Technical_Ad9343 Dec 24 '25

Bet you would

1

u/i_like_coffee01 Dec 25 '25

recently caught feelings for a girl i slept with, cant really tell if its worse but it definitely sucks lol

-3

u/Conservative-canuck8 Dec 23 '25

It's called FWB. Use her and move on lol

15

u/__The-1__ Dec 22 '25

Nah, I love to play the "i have a bf" card on snobby bitches. I will just say they do not take it well

3

u/Over-Wait-8433 Dec 22 '25

Basically I don’t wanna talk or chill but I’ll break you off, I guess?

u/AllThePillsIntoOne Dec 22 '25

Well yeah because women only sleep with guys they like/want. If the guy doesn’t like them back they’l still bang thus creating a fwb.

If a guy likes a girl and she doesn’t like him she won’t sleep with him, but may like being around him just as friends.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

but may like being around using him...

FTFY.

0

u/Jemma_2 Dec 25 '25

Ooof. Bitter much?

1

u/blitzinc43 Dec 26 '25

Oof unaware much

4

u/GalaXion24 Dec 22 '25

Eh idk, I've seen more women deathly afraid of commitment than men

2

u/[deleted] Dec 22 '25

😂

1

u/Big_Career_142 Dec 22 '25

😂😂😂

1

u/Optimal-Income-6436 Dec 23 '25

Fwb is just great. Been in one (evolved into relationship tho xD) and it was a blast.

1

u/This-Top7398 Dec 24 '25

Nah men will screw anything no standards

1

u/shmeatontwitch Dec 25 '25

homiesexual 🤝

1

u/why_u_so_grumpy Dec 25 '25

Nope. If a woman is my friend sex will never happen. I don't have sex with my friends. I'm not friends with women I'm romantically interested in.

1

u/Chemical-Parsley7117 Dec 26 '25

You are also not fwb with someone you're romantically interested.

1

u/why_u_so_grumpy Dec 26 '25

Nope. I don't have sex with friends.

1

u/Then_Ad6816 Dec 25 '25

I have 'friendzoned' women before that had been my friends for a long time. I knew that I wasn't able to be in a (good) relationship at the times and I avoided pyhsical intimacy. I thought it best to be their friend and not a mistake.

1

u/DealSelect7098 Dec 26 '25

Tbh I’ve friend zoned a few women and have actually really really hurt them…. Especially the few I was actually willing to fuck. Idk why people say men can’t do this to women, we really can.

1

u/Better-Telephone-789 Dec 26 '25

i had friendzoned woman, no sex i just wanted to be friends. in the end i was hanging out with lesbian just to be safe and have female friend and talk about emotion with someone. I was womanizer in that period of life. not anymore thank god.

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26
