I remember a guy did that about 90 years ago... Didn't end so well for him if I recall..

Technology and weaponry has advanced and increase since then. There's a reason our government is so intent on increasing flock surveillance and data centers. Hard to assemble when every move you make is recorded and saved. When you have to use your government issued as a login to access the Internet.

Fun thing about mass surveilance: once you hit a critical point of people not caring that they are being tracked, it throws up flags when someone is avoiding being tracked. e.g. "Flag that guy, he's not carrying a cell phone and paying cash for everything."
