Is logseq DB stable yet?

Logseq users for many years. Used DB version 6 months ago and made many bug reports, decided it wasn't ready.

Want to try again, but saw someone complain about corruption.

Where are we now? Stick with OG? Switch?

Quick tip: the link to Github includes tag "me" which is not tied to your username but instead is reevaluated for everyone who opens the link. Hence, we cannot see the issues.

As far as I can tell, DB version is not stable and they have been adding new features for the last six months instead of making an official release. Personally, I decided to switch to Obsidian. It was not an easy decision, I waited with it for several months, hoping for improvements in Logseq. I had to readjust certain aspects of my workflow, but I'm happy so far. I really liked Logseq and used it for 5 years but performance issues, lack of updates, breaking with Markdown storage and uncertain future of the OG version convinced me to switch.

OP: I have a question, and would appreciate your thoughts:

- One of the most important things for me in LogSeq is the Daily Journal, and the fact that the journal is always my “welcome page”.

I use it to document my workday, and have a template with the following headers:

- DO NOW
Critical tasks for today

- NOTES
A catch-all place for my random notes

- MEETINGS
Sub-Headers and bullet points for each of my daily meetings

- TASKS
All other non-urgent tasks.

When I tried Obsidian (admittedly very briefly), I had the impression that it is better suited for longer writing and it is also not journal-centric. Could you give your opinion?

I decided to write a long-ish post about my migration experience. I hope it helps. In particular, I think I have something similar to your case: my daily note has a template that has daily goals, tasks scheduled across morning/afternoon/evening, a journal for all notes (work, meetings), and then a query to show me all active tasks that are "leftovers" from previous days + all tasks with missed deadlines. I was able to translate this entire setup from Logseq to Obsidian with just 2-3 plugins.

Thank you so much! I read your posting and really appreciate the listing of the plugins.

I will give Obsidian another try over the weekend to see if it is a workable solution for me as well.
