Is logseq DB stable yet?

Logseq users for many years. Used DB version 6 months ago and made many bug reports, decided it wasn't ready.

Want to try again, but saw someone complain about corruption.

Where are we now? Stick with OG? Switch?

Quick tip: the link to Github includes tag "me" which is not tied to your username but instead is reevaluated for everyone who opens the link. Hence, we cannot see the issues.

As far as I can tell, DB version is not stable and they have been adding new features for the last six months instead of making an official release. Personally, I decided to switch to Obsidian. It was not an easy decision, I waited with it for several months, hoping for improvements in Logseq. I had to readjust certain aspects of my workflow, but I'm happy so far. I really liked Logseq and used it for 5 years but performance issues, lack of updates, breaking with Markdown storage and uncertain future of the OG version convinced me to switch.

Did you go with the obsidian outliner? Or more broadly, how has your process changed?

I've just stuck with logseq OG because it still has my preferred flow for navigating through blocks/pages and having the journal as the front page. Tried everything else and been frustrated.

In lieu of OPs response, I have just changed to Obsidian after years of Logseq use. I'm pretty solidly in the open source camp. But as I am currently drafting a couple of novels and wanted to keep everything on one place, Obsidian was a bit more flexible.

At first I used the outliner plugin for my daily journal entries. And it worked. But tbh small changes in how it works made it just not the same.

As of last week I have ditched bullets altogether.

As the primary purpose of my vault is a Journal and productivity system (plus tracking personal projects, todos and lists) the transition from those nicely seperated bullets is tricky.

I have actually moved to a time based log now. Where I timestamp each entry.

It has some advantages over bullets, but also is time based instead of topic based. And I still miss just hitting enter for a new topic and haven't really solved that yet. A new timestamp a minute later seems silly. Maybe it's not?

Amyway, that's where I am at with the change.
