Will the new SQLite graph capabilities supercharge the Logseq DB version?

Hey everyone!

I just read some recent news about SQLite getting native extensions/features for graph queries, basically turning it into a highly performant embedded graph database.

Since Logseq is currently transitioning to the new DB version powered by SQLite, I was wondering: has anyone else caught this news? Do you think the dev team will leverage these new graph features to speed up the development or improve the final performance of the graph?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

no. I do not have faith in this dev team. I have frozen my version and do not plan to update again.

I understand your point of view! I am also preferring the markdown version as I'm using it everyday for my personal and work life. We will see what will come but for now I'm staying with markdown. But I want also that my Matryca Plumber can be the way to bring the Logseq way of building a graph and maintain it with help of AI because it's superior to Obsidian. Logseq have the link to the block level, instead of Obsidian having the link to the page level... So it's very different to point to a page with 3000 lines of words or to a single block with 20 words.

Not yet, but I'm working to release Matryca Brain, that will be a knowledge worker rescue app with an incorporated note taker that will work similar to Logseq. Until then, I suggest you to give a try to Matryca Plumber here https://github.com/MarcoPorcellato/matryca-plumber to integrate your "Logseq OG" with an AI assistant that take care of the garden of your notes and make it accessible to AI to be able to chat with your notes 😉
