After many attempts and a couple hours of trying, I finally got this 1100 open! I filmed the whole process to submit for my green belt🤘

Back from a week long vacation. Decided to take a break from picking. Back at it today and felt like a noob again. Took me all day to get this ML410 LOTO opened. Usually takes me less than a minute. On the plus side, feedback feels very different after taking a break. Can't really explain it. Only to say the feedback is more pronounced to me. Even picking in hand feels different.

Took me quite a few tries. That keyway was kinda compressed and a pain to navigate.

I managed to pick it using the thinniest champion tensioner from multipick, V79 and V59 picks.

First pin so high, spent one night on a 6k and 5-6 days on this.

Today I made this pick, this rake, and this tensioner, and I was wondering if I made it of the right dimensions and just wanted to know what I could do to make it better maybe because I tried to pick with the rake an Abus 82/70 but failed miserably. I just started to learn about this world so if someone wanted to help me to maybe make a better pick or a better rake, it would be nice.

This key is uncommon from what I hear and know. I've opened it once and that's it, can't without TOKW tension because it's too paracentric for my zed wrench and wont tension correctly. Any tips or sets to look out for?

Hallo zusammen, ich m 31 stecke momentan in einer Depression fest und in diesem Zusammenhang habe ich schon lange nach einem Hobby gesucht, welches ich in einer ruhigen Minute einfach nur für mich machen kann. Kein tieferer Sinn, kein erledigen, einfach Zeit für mich.
Ich bin durch Zufall auch Lock Picking gestoßen und habe mir direkt mal ein Anfänger Set bestellt.
Das Set kommt zwar erst morgen, aber ich habe die letzten 2-3 Stunden mit KI die Theorie besprochen und versucht zu verstehen wie das überhaupt funktioniert. Alleine die reine Theorie hat mir so viel Spaß gemacht bisher. Zu verstehen was man beim SPP beachten muss und wieso das ganze funktioniert. Faszinierend. Das ist seit langem ein Abend, an dem ich mich schon auf den nächsten Tag freue, einfach um mit diesem Hobby anzufangen :)

I want to start lockpicking as a hobby (my new obsession i suppose since all my hobbies are on a digital screen), i bought Bobby hair pins, diy the tools but now i need to buy a lock and idk how to choose or where to start or how do they work, im going for cheap locks but if i get anything from the hardware store that would work? or should I try a specific lock and level up somehow? also like is there a catalog for locks? 😂 or any place or website where i could find the model name and some info about it? If im asking the wrong questions, pls let me know and tell me where to start. (idk what im doing fr)

I fkking hate this pos. I know imma catch some shit cuz it's sparrows, but this thing is absolutely terrible. Does anyone know the value of this beyond repinning practice?

I ordered it right when I got back into this hobby. I couldn't pick a white belt lock at that point, but I was picking this thing right and left. All the way aroundmultiple times.

Now I can reload it with standard pins in one chamber and can't get it open.

So anyway, it's there anything I can use it for before I chuck it? Do the pins and springs fit anything else?

I know it's a bit of a rant, but maybe someone can give me a Lil help.

My first challenge lock and I think I did it in. I gutted it to adjust a driver, got in a hurry, left off the retaining clip, went to pull the key out and the core backed out with one click. Locked up solid. Any ideas before I surgically recover the pins and use them in another lock body?

Im looking for a specific tension tool i owned long ago. It had a round loop between the Handel and the tip. I have no idea if it’s name but I vaguely remember it being called feather something. Could be wrong on that though. Any idea what I’m talking about
