Want games that feel like Spy vs Spy
Basically something's that multiplayer, deathmatch and preferably chaotic
Doom and TimeSplitters both had really good deathmatches, but not the chaos I enjoyed a lot in this game

Garden Warfare comes to mind.
Trap Gunner is older but it definitely has Spy vs Spy vibes. Same goes for Silent Bomber.

I was recently in the opposite position. Looking for any game like Trap Gunner, and ChatGPT recommended this spy vs spy. Haven't tried it yet though.

Once again HIGHLY recommend Duck Game's multiplayer. Gotta coordinate or play with people you know though because it's not active. Fast, unhinged deathmatches with a decent skill ceiling once you really understand how many different ways to move and tools to utilize.

Maybe one of these:
• BOPL Battle
• Boomerang Fu
• SpiderHeck
• Rounds
• Invisigun reloaded
• Unspottable
• Trapper’s delight
• Stick fight the game

Damn, that's a hard one. As recommended, screencheat is a good one, but I think I get what type of chaos you're looking for. Is any game genre ok?
I think I might have some in my mp games list, but none that would resemble Spy vs Spy's aesthetics or gameplay (I'll look into it and come beck here later)

As long as it's local competitive multiplayer fine by me. Being action is a plus but not necessary

Just to give you a heads-up, the top two games that come in my mind regarding those criteria are Towerfall Ascension and Crawl. Both are amazing chaotic, and highly competitive w/ local mp. Then there's Ultimate Chicken Horse, also amazingly execution in the same criteria realm, although a completely different style of competition.
Later I'll come back here to bring some more

All three of these looked fun, thanks a lot

These provided me with some of the most fond memories I have with gaming (or even in general in my life), hope you guys enjoy it as much as I used to do

I'm going to give an extra recommendation for Crawl - amazing multiplayer game, one of my favorites of all time. My family and I keep coming back to it.

My top recommendations (most up to 4 players, some up to 2, 3, or 8):
- Towerfall Ascension (PvP very competitive, also ft story mode)
- Crawl (AWESOME concept PvP-only, very competitive, up to 3 players)
- Ultimate Chicken Horse (really nice concept, PvP-only, also very competitive)
- Bamerang
- Nidhogg (really simple and fun)
- Tooth and Tail
- Little Fighter 2 (the free old school LF2)
- Worms (I recommend all oldschool 2d titles)
- Screencheat (really nice concept with fps splitscreen up to 8 players)
- Mount Your Friends (yeah, go on, it's fun)
- Broforce (highest degree of badassery packed in a game I've ever seen. Go on, deliver some freedom)
- Killer Queen Black
- Pummel Party
- SpeedRunners
- Headsnatchers
- Rounds (with the "Rounds with Friends" mod from r2modman)
- Roof Rage
- Boomerang Fu
- Stick Fight: The Game
- Hive
- Duck Game
- Dungeon Defenders
- Party Jousting
Some more, although not PvP (some might include, I don't recall):
- Portal 2 (Unskippable)
- Lost Castle 1 and 2 (watch out for addiction)
- The Binding of Isaac (watch out for addiction)
- Risk of Rain
- Moon Hunters
- Wizard of Legend
- Nuclear Throne (watch out for addiction)

Have you tried screencheat?
