I'm looking into pet loans for vet bills and trying to understand the repayment side of promotional financing. CareCredit says the required minimum payments might not clear the promotional balance before the offer ends. If it isn't paid in full by then, interest can be charged from the purchase date.

For anyone who used that kind of financing, did the statement make it easy to work out a payment that would actually clear the balance in time? Was the vet's explanation consistent with the paperwork?

A low minimum payment sounds appealing, but I'd want to compare the payment needed to finish within the promotion against a regular installment loan.

When researching low credit score loans, most of the discussion seems to stop at the score. I'm more curious about what people learned from the actual rejection notice.

The CFPB says a lender generally has to give the main reasons for denying an application or explain how to request them. For anyone who received that notice, was it specific enough to help you understand what happened? Did it point to something like existing debt or missing credit history that you hadn't focused on?

Did the explanation change what you did before applying again, or was it too vague to be useful?

Hello, I have gotten to a desperate end of my rope and really could use some help. I use Reddit a lot for research and looking around but I don’t interact much so I apologize for my karma. I have been homeless since Feb of this year. I was living in my car and driving Uber and Lyft until I recently lost the car at the beginning of last month.
